Canto del Gallo
This is your specific piece of rainforest. The money from the current AINI batch goes to the Canto del Gallo plot in the Ecuadorian Amazon — find it on the map by its GPS coordinates.

Open it in Google Maps and find the exact piece of rainforest your can protects.
Edwin
He grows rainforest, not a plantation
Edwin lives with his family in the Ecuadorian Amazon, where he runs the family wayusa farm. He works with the Shuar communities, supporting them. He grows wayusa the way his grandparents did — under the rainforest canopy, by hand, without chemicals.
He is not an anonymous supplier with a fair-trade label. He is our friend, with whom we work directly. He harvests, dries, and ships the wayusa for AINI.
“When you protect the tree, the tree protects you.”
— Edwin, Raywana farm
Canto del Gallo is protected by Forestink
We don't look after this piece of rainforest alone. The non-profit Forestink buys and protects it directly in the Ecuadorian Amazon — plot by plot.
Purchase & protection
Forestink bought this plot and shields it from logging. It's part of 88 hectares of Amazon rainforest already saved.
Restoration & biodiversity
Cleared areas are reforested and life returns to them. Over 21,800 tonnes of CO₂e are stored in the protected biomass.
Local communities
Local people and volunteers do the protection work — over 300 have already passed through the forest on site.
